Essential Oil Burner Safety Instructions
Whether you use a reed diffuser or an essential-oil burner, the following tips will help you enjoy the fragrance safely.
Essential Oil Burner Safety Instructions:
- Place the bottle on a stable, level surface.
Never put it on a bed, chair, curtain, or any uneven or flammable area. - Opening the bottle
• Hold the bottle by the neck, not the middle, to avoid squeezing oil out.
• Press the cap downward and turn it counter-clockwise to open. - Refilling
• Keep away from open flames while pouring.
• After refilling, close the bottle, wipe away any spills on the bottle and table, and allow the surface to dry before lighting. - Flammability & storage
• Essential oil is flammable. Do not let minors, elderly persons, anyone with limited mobility, or anyone under the influence use it unsupervised.
• Store in a cool place, away from heat, sparks, direct sunlight, and electrical outlets.
• If swallowed or splashed into eyes, flush immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help. - Re-lighting
If you have just extinguished the burner, wait 10–20 minutes for the metal/ceramic parts to cool before re-lighting. - Wick / burner head
• Make sure the wick is seated straight and secure; it must not lean or expose cotton fibers.
• Never light the burner if the wick is damaged or improperly positioned. - Children & pets
• Keep burning diffusers out of reach of children and pets.
• Wait until the flame is completely extinguished before leaving the area. - Hot parts
Do not touch the burner head immediately after use. Cover it with the provided snuffer cap to prevent accidental burns. - Ventilation
Avoid continuous use in small, unventilated rooms without air-conditioning. Open a window or door periodically. - Dry-burn prevention
Never light an empty bottle. Refill promptly to prevent the unit from overheating. - When not in use
Close the sealing cap tightly to stop the oil from evaporating.
